The start of the path in Radstock, the first bit is already tarmaced before it bends down to the lower Greenway Path. The upper path being the former Somerset and Dorset Railway and the lower part being the former GWR railway. |

The path is generally in good condition and used by many walkers. It is a bit overgrown in places! |
The place where the old S&D railway crosses the GWR is locally known as Five Arches from where we hope a new foot/cyclist bridge will cross over the Radstock/Somervale Road. |
The Radstock/Somervale Road and embankment on the other side. There are various construction methods that can be used to cross the road. We will be looking at which one would be most cost effective and, of course, not restricting the traffic flow. |
This is where the old railway path joins with the pit path. We are looking for a direct link here with both Westfield and Midsomer Norton High street. |
